I founded Aromatic Health to educate about the benefits of clinical aromatherapy, or essential oil therapy. Aromatherapy is much more than just aroma and the term is misleading. It’s more than candles, plug ins and bubble bath. We’re not a bunch of hippie flakes, claiming that our oils will cure everything you suffer from. Well, except for maybe lavender.

As the company founder, I wanted to introduce and promote the health benefits of essential oils. Also, throughout my first pregnancy, I was formulating products for myself and felt that other women would benefit from the alternatives available for pre and postpartum healing. As well, I saw first hand, the amazing healing properties the oils can have, when my Mum was going through treatment for cancer. See more about essential oils and cancer here.

The word “aromatherapy” has become a marketing buzz word and has been used for products which may contain natural or synthetic essential oils, even in minute amounts. Aromatherapy, and the use of essential oils, has many clinical applications. It is this aspect of aromatherapy that is our focus at Aromatic Health.

With fourteen years as a practicing aromatherapist, I use my knowledge and experience to provide consultation services, create customized products and create essential oil products, and to aid in the healing of the mind and body.

At Aromatic Health, all of our products are hand made, using only pure and organic essential oils and raw ingredients. Our products are cruelty free and do not contain synthetic fragrances, parabens, petrochemicals or preservatives.

We also use a minimal amount of packaging and promote the recycling or the re-use of our jars and bottles.
